DAY 1: Depart for Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia

Depart on your International flight from London Heathrow Airport on your scheduled overnight flight to Kuala Lumpur. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey.


DAY 2: Arrive in Kuala Lumpur

Welcome to Malaysia.

Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur International airport, Malaysia’s capital city; collect your checked – luggage at the baggage claim area, and proceed for exit sign.

Watch out for our English speaking guide who will be holding a placard with ‘Welcome Cobra Holidays’ on it.

You will be welcomed by our representative and transfer you to your hotel.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from jet lag and get ready for the adventures awaiting you!

DAY 3: Kuala Lumpur – City Tour

This morning after breakfast, meet your English speaking guide, board our coach and depart for sightseeing tour of Kuala Lumpur city to include visiting the Kings Palace, 88 storey Petronas Twin Towers (from outside) the instantly recognizable symbol of the city which remains the highest twin tower in the world despite being deposed from the position of tallest building, which it held from 1998 through to 2004.

Visit Kuala Lumpur tower which is a 421m high telecommunications and broadcasting tower which actually appears to be taller than the Petronas Towers, because it is built on a hill. Amidst the city of Kuala Lumpur stands the Menara Kuala Lumpur at 515m above sea level. Enjoy sweeping views over Kuala Lumpur from the KL Tower Observation Deck. The enclosed deck provides 360-degree views, and your admission ticket includes a multisensory movie.

Then visit the National Museum, take a stroll around the beautiful Lake Gardens located within the vicinity of National Monument, see it from outside the National Mosque Masid Jamek, and a stop at the Independence Square situated in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. the Independence Square has been the usual venue for the annual Independence Day Parade.

The final stop is at Craft Cultural Complex.

This afternoon we have free time at leisure for shopping etc.

DAY 4: Batu Caves – Genting Highlands

Today after breakfast, meet our guide in the hotel lobby and proceed to visit the famous Batu Caves which has three main caves featuring Hindu temples and shrines.

Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, and one will need to climb 272 steps to fully appreciate the caves and to finally view the stunning skyline of the city centre.

After lunch, travel to Genting Highlands Mountain Resort.  We travel to the resort by Genting Skyway Southeast Asia’s fastest and longest cable car ride over the mountain.

Genting Highland Resort is a self-proclaimed City of Entertainment. We will visit the Casino before returning to Kuala Lumpur. You can visit the Theme park but the entrance is not included.

DAY 5: Flight Kuala Lumpur – Bali

We check out of the hotel and transfer to the Kuala Lumpur airport to board your flight for Bali.

Welcome to Bali. Upon arrival at Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, collect your checked – luggage at the baggage claim area, and proceed for exit sign.

Watch out for our English speaking guide who will be holding a placard with ‘Welcome Cobra Holidays’ on it.

You will be welcomed by our representative and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

The rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 6: Bali Tour of Ubud

Today after breakfast proceed for a tour of Ubud. No trip to Bali would be complete without a visit to Ubud – to say it’s a special place would be an understatement! Think hippie markets and meditation, tropical jungle and rice fields, throw in stunning waterfalls and some delicious food and you’ll soon think you’ve stumbled on heaven on earth. Our Best of Ubud Tour really is the best Bali tour around, giving you the opportunity to see the best this town has to offer.

DAY 7: Bali – Kintamani Lake & Volcano 

Today after breakfast we proceed for a sightseeing tour of Bali. The perfect introduction to Bali’s fascinating culture and handicrafts, picturesque rice fields, traditional villages and a spectacular lake and volcano.

We take you to Batubulan to see the exciting Barong Dance. Continue on through the woodcarving village of Mas. Watch artisans chipping intricate designs from wood blocks. Visit the fantastic 11th century Elephant Cave (Goa Gajah). Moving into the cool mountains of Kintamani. View Mount Batur with its ribbons of black lava running down its peak to the valley below. Beside lies the shimmering lake of Batur.

Our route home stops at the Holy springs (Pura Tirta Empul) which are believed to have magic curative powers. Visit Ubud the artistic heart of Bali and Celuk the gold and silver making centre.

DAY 8: Bali – Monkey Forest, Mengwi Temple & Sunset at Tanah Lot

After breakfast free time at leisure or go shopping on your own.

In the afternoon we proceed for sightseeing tour of Monkey Forest, Mengwi Temple and Sunset at Tanah Lot. A Stroll through green terraced rice fields observing the surrounding coconut trees and vegetable plantations of sweet potato and tapioca. We arrive in a peaceful tropical garden setting where you may relax in a Balinese pavilion. Sample Indonesian fried tapioca and sweet potato with mineral water, tea and coffee. Continue to the Royal Temple of Mengwi – Pura Taman Ayun.

Visit the sacred home of Bali’s entertaining monkey’s before arriving to watch the sunset over Tanah Lot Temple. A 16th century temple built on a lava rock, 200 meters off shore.

DAY 9: Bali – Dinner Cruise 

This morning after breakfast free time at leisure.

Later in the evening transfer from hotel to the Bali Hai Sunset Dinner Cruise. There’s no better way to spend a balmy tropical evening than on Bali Hai evening Dinner Cruises around Benoa Harbour. The cruise cost includes canapes and floral lei, International buffet dinner, music from trio Batakos and live cabaret show. International dinner on the Cruise Boat.

DAY 10: Bali – London

After breakfast free time at leisure.

Visa Requirements

  1. British citizens require 10 machine-readable passports, valid for 30 days after the return date, when travelling abroad.

  3. Visa: Bali - British Citizen passport holders require visas to enter Bali. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the Visas if you require them.
  4. Tourist Levy: On 14 February 2025, the Bali Provincial Government will introduce a tourist levy of 150,000 Indonesian rupiah per person (approximately £8) to all foreign tourists arriving in Bali. Payment can be made online or on arrival at designated payment counters at Bali’s airport and seaport. Further information can be found on https://lovebali.baliprov.go.id/
  5. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the Visas if you require them.
  6. Indonesia has introduced the All Indonesia Arrival Card website (https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/) (from 1 September) which combines customs and health declarations into a single form. You must complete the online All Indonesia Declaration Form up to 72 hours before you arrive In Indonesia.
  7. Ensure your passport has sufficient blank pages. Most destinations require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure.
