DAY 1: London – Calgary

Depart on your International flight from London Heathrow Airport on your scheduled flight to Calgary, Alberta’s major city and gateway to the Canadian Rockies.

Welcome to Canada. Upon arrival in Calgary, clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow exit sign. We board our coach and proceed to our hotel for check-in. Our Tour Manager will introduce you to the exciting tour of Canada that awaits you. Rest of the day free time at leisure.

In the evening dinner at an Indian Restaurant.

DAY 2: Calgary – Banff – Gondola Ride & Bow Falls

Today, we board our coach proceed for sightseeing tour of the city to include visiting popular attractions & landmarks, such as the Calgary Tower (from outside), Fort Calgary (from outside), the Canada Olympic Park, St Stephens Avenue Mall, City Hall, Olympic Plaza the site of the 1988 Winter Olympics and much more.

Then drive into Banff National Park and the mountain resort of Banff, gateway to the majestic Canadian Rockies.

We take a trip to the Hoodoos, Tunnel Mountain, and scenic Surprise Corner viewpoint overlooking the famous Banff Springs Hotel and the Bow Falls. Enjoy the unparalleled mountain scenery as we explore wondrous Banff National Park, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our sightseeing tour includes a Gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain experiencing stunning views at every turn of six mountain ranges, the village below, walk along the boardwalk to the Observation Deck (weather permitting).

We then visit the Bow Falls enjoying a city tour including the Cave and Basin Historic Site. Bow falls and Banff Town Truly an exhilarating experience!

DAY 3: Banff – Lake Louise –  Icefield Parkway – Sky Walk – Jasper

This morning we board our coach and travel first to Lake Louise, its azure-blue waters a perfect natural mirror, reflecting the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Precipitous gorges, snow-capped mountain ranges, and lakes come into view as you head through two mountain passes. We stop at Bow Lake which is a small lake in western Alberta, Canada. It is located on the Bow River in the Canadian Rockies, at an altitude of 1920 m.

Later we drive to Columbia Icefield

  • We visit the New Glacier Skywalk for the breath taking views. Walk on the cliff edge glass floored observation platform 918 feet over spectacular glacier-formed valleys and rushing waterfalls.
  • Then we proceed for an exciting ride on the Ice Explorer ‘Snow Coach’ over the 1,200-feet-thick Athabasca Glacier.

 Columbia Icefield Glacier Adventure

The Great Wall of China, the Statue of Liberty, the Pyramids of Egypt; every corner of the world has its must-see attraction….in the Canadian Rockies, it’s the Glacier Adventure.

This tour takes visitors onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier by Ice Explorer; a massive vehicle specially designed for glacial travel. An experienced driver-guide shares a wealth of fascinating information about glaciers, icefields and their impact on our environment during this one hour and 20 minute journey.

Mid-point in the tour, passengers can safely step out onto the glacier and take in the most stunning alpine and glacial vistas. Tours depart every 15-30mins from the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.

Note: Unfavourable weather conditions may affect the availability of the Columbia Icefield Snowcoach excursion.

If time permits we continue our journey to view the thundering Athabasca waterfalls and we continue driving to picturesque resort of Jasper, where you will enjoy an orientation tour of the town.

DAY 4: Jasper – Mount Robson – Kamloops

Today board our coach, follow the Fraser River to the base of spectacular Mount Robson in Jasper National park, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

We enter British Columbian and set your clocks one hour back. We stop for a photo stop at Clear blue water before we continue our journey is alongside the mighty Thompson River abounding in scenic delights as we travel westwards to the small city of Kamloops

After Indian dinner check-in to your hotel.

DAY 5: Kamloops – Whistler – Vancouver

This morning after breakfast, our journey takes us southwards towards Vancouver. We can expect a day of scenery changes when we drive through the ranch lands and head for the coastal dramatic mountains.

Upon arrival in Whistler village, nestled at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, it’s apparent that this is a resort village unlike any other you’ve ever experienced. With its endless array of shops, cafés and bars, restaurants and legendary aprés nightlife, the pedestrian-only Village is a destination like no other.

Later we drive south along the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway through a dramatic landscape of jagged fjords and glaciated mountain peaks. If time permits we proceed to visit Shannon Water Falls located 58 kilometers from Vancouver. Later continue our journey to Vancouver.

In the evening we arrive in Vancouver city, a bustling west coast seaport in British Columbia.

DAY 6: Vancouver – Seattle

After breakfast, explore the metropolis of Vancouver on a sightseeing tour. Highlights include Stanley Park, Downtown, Prospect Point, English Bay, Lion Bridge, historic Gastown, bustling Chinatown, Granville Island and more.

Then we depart to visit Capilano Suspension Bridge – the world’s longest and highest suspended footbridge. Later time permitting, we visit one of the shopping malls for shopping.

Later in the afternoon at 2pm we cross the border into Washington and then travel onwards to Seattle and on to our hotel.

DAY 7: Seattle – Board Cruise Ship

This morning after breakfast we visit the world famous Boeing Airplane Factory. – Boeing’s Future of Flight Aviation Center. The factory tour itself is comprehensive, starting with an introduction in the theatre and then proceeding to the factory itself. Certainly an unforgettable experience. We stand inside the very building that houses 747s! And witness airplanes in various stages of construction & flight testing along with 777 dream liner and 787.

Later we proceed for an orientation tour of Seattle before transferring to the Port of Seattle to embark on our cruise ship. Our journey will then begin with a 7-night Alaska Roundtrip Cruise.

Upon arrival at the cruise port, please ensure that you complete the necessary check-in formalities and proceed to board the cruise ship. Afterward, you can enjoy a delightful lunch. Following that, you will have some free time to relax and engage in leisure activities.

DAY 8: At Sea

Today is a full day at sea, a great opportunity to explore this vast ship and familiarise yourself with your home for the next seven days.

Enjoy a day at sea aboard the ship as you cruise Alaska’s Inside Passage. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as Orca whales and bald eagles. Humpback whales are often seen breaching by the ship, sometimes even lifting their whole bodies out of the water in a spectacular acrobatic displays.

DAY 9: Sitka, Alaska

The Cruise ship arrives in Sitka, Alaska.  Sitka is a charming island community surrounded with stunning mountain and seaside panoramic views. The vast and rich wildlife boasts sightings of whales, brown bears, deers, sea otters, and various birds flock here. This destination offers superb fishing, and plentiful historical attractions.

Later in the evening set sail toward Juneau, Alaska.

DAY 10: Juneau, Alaska – Endicott Arms & Dawes Glacier (Cruising)

The Cruise ship arrives in Juneau capital of Alaska.  Juneau has been called “Alaska’s peak experience,” certainly due in part to its unparalleled glacier viewing from such places as Tracy Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier Bay National Park. Kayak up one of the area’s many protected waterways, go flightseeing, tour historic downtown or try your hand at panning for gold. The majestic Mendenhall Glacier lies nearly 12 miles outside Juneau, a treck worthwhile.

Later set sail toward Endicott Arms & Dawes Glacier and then onto Icy Strait Point .  From Stephens Passage, your ship will turn into the glacially carved fjord of Endicott Arm, the southern sister fjord to Tracy. However, Endicott is special. It’s the fjord less travelled, and at its head, Dawes Glacier. But first, the 31-mile fjord. Sheer granite walls. Plunging waterfalls. Spruce and hemlock trees clinging to the steep sides. It is the definition of pristine. Look for “bergy bits,” floating chunks of glacial ice, some looking more like sculptures, some with resting seals on top. Keep an eye open for bears, mountain goats and whales, too. As we approach the glacier, listen for thunderous cracks and have your camera ready. Dawes is an active tidewater glacier that recedes daily causing calving, where huge hunks of ice plunge into the sea. At 600 feet tall and a half-mile wide, this blue-hued, powerful glacier may be the highlight of your Alaska cruise.

DAY 11: Icy Straight Point

Today the ship arrives in Icy Straight Point.
Venture “where the north wind doesn’t blow.” Known for this famous saying, Icy Strait Point is the ideal landing spot for adventurers seeking a new experience. Breathtaking and exciting, Icy Strait Point truly takes you where the wild things are. It’s one of the few places in the world where wildlife outnumbers the human population. A trip here certainly satisfies your taste for adventure.

DAY 12: Ketchikan

This morning the cruise ship arrives in Ketchikan, Alaska.

Thanks to its abundant rainfall, Ketchikan is surrounded by some of the world’s most lush wilderness. Its Tlingit Indian name, Kach Khanna, means “spread wings of the eagle.” Chances are you’ll see one of these magnificent birds perched atop a Sitka tree during your Alaska cruise to Ketchikan (Ward Cove).

DAY 13: Victoria, British Colombia

This morning the cruise ship arrives in Victoria, British Colombia.

Roam the spacious lawns of stunning Butchart Gardens with its exotic flora, unusual topiary and exquisite fountains. Explore historic Bastion Square, the treasures of Chinatown and the many sights and sounds to be found along the boardwalk of the Inner Harbour.

DAY 14: Seattle – Flight London

The cruise ship arrives early in morning arrival at Port of Seattle.

After breakfast we disembark our Cruise Ship and proceed to clear immigration. After collecting our luggage, we board our coach and proceed for an orientation city tour of Seattle to include visiting

  • Space needle: Visit the Space Needle (from outside) is an observation tower in Seattle, Washington, United States. It is a landmark of the Pacific Northwest and an icon of Seattle.
  • Pike Place Market: Pike Place Market is one of the most popular tourist spots in Seattle, but it’s a favorite of locals, too.

Later depart for Seattle-Tacoma International Airport to board your flight to London.

On arrival at Seattle- Tacoma International Airport please check in, clear security and proceed to the departure lounge to board your flight to London Heathrow.

DAY 15: Arrival London

On arrival at London Heathrow Airport, follow signs for arrival/baggage claim, clear immigration, collect baggage and follow sign for exit.

  • Return flight – If your flight departs in the afternoon / evening, you will arrive in U.K. on the next

  1.  British citizens require machine-readable passports, valid for 90 days after the return date, when travelling to the CANADA and USA.
  2.  Visa: Canada - Under Canada’s Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) program, British passport holders are required to obtain an eTA prior to travelling to Canada. Other nationality passport holders should check with the relevant embassy. The application can be done via the website: www.canada.ca/eta. You will need to provide basic personal information similar to what was previously collected on arrival into Canada. eTA is a convenient authorization that is electronically linked to your passport, which means you will need to travel with the same passport you used when they applied for and obtained your eTA. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the eTA.
  3. Alaska, USA: British passport holders do require a ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) visa Waiver or a visa to enter or transit USA as a Visitor. You cannot apply for an ESTA visa waiver if you have travelled to or been in Cuba on or after 12 January 2021. You must instead apply for a US visa. Website: https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/    Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the ESTA.
  4. Ensure your passport has sufficient blank pages. Most destinations require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure.
