DAY 1: London – Calgary

Depart on your International flight from London Heathrow Airport on your scheduled flight to Calgary, Alberta’s major city and gateway to the Canadian Rockies.

Welcome to Canada. Upon arrival in Calgary, clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow exit sign. We board our coach and proceed to our hotel for check-in. Our Tour Manager will introduce you to the exciting tour of Canada that awaits you. Rest of the day free time at leisure.

DAY 2: Calgary – Banff – Gondola Ride & Bow Falls

Today, we board our coach proceed for sightseeing tour of the city to include visiting popular attractions & landmarks, such as the Calgary Tower (from outside), the Canada Olympic Park, the Pengrowth Saddledome Olympic Plaza the site of the 1988 Winter Olympics and much more.

Then drive into Banff National Park and the mountain resort of Banff, gateway to the majestic Canadian Rockies.

We take a trip to the Hoodoos, Tunnel Mountain, and scenic Surprise Corner viewpoint overlooking the famous Banff Springs Hotel and the Bow Falls. Enjoy the unparalleled mountain scenery as we explore wondrous Banff National Park, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our sightseeing tour includes a Gondola ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain experiencing stunning views at every turn of six mountain ranges, the village below, walk along the boardwalk to the Observation Deck (weather permitting). Bow Falls and Banff Town Truly an exhilarating experience!

DAY 3: Banff – Lake Louise, Icefield Parkway, Sky Walk, Jasper

This morning we board our coach and travel first to Lake Louise, its azure-blue waters a perfect natural mirror, reflecting the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Precipitous gorges, snow-capped mountain ranges, and lakes come into view as you head through two mountain passes. We stop at Bow Lake which is a small lake in western Alberta, Canada. It is located on the Bow River in the Canadian Rockies, at an altitude of 1920 m.

Later we drive to Columbia Icefield

  • We visit the New Glacier Skywalk for the breath taking views. Walk on the cliff edge glass floored observation platform 918 feet over spectacular glacier-formed valleys and rushing waterfalls.
  • Then we proceed for an exciting ride on the Ice Explorer ‘Snow Coach’ over the 1,200-feet-thick Athabasca Glacier.

 Columbia Icefield Glacier Adventure

The Great Wall of China, the Statue of Liberty, the Pyramids of Egypt; every corner of the world has its must-see attraction….in the Canadian Rockies, it’s the Glacier Adventure.

This tour takes visitors onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier by Ice Explorer; a massive vehicle specially designed for glacial travel. An experienced driver-guide shares a wealth of fascinating information about glaciers, icefields and their impact on our environment during this one hour and 20 minute journey.

Mid-point in the tour, passengers can safely step out onto the glacier and take in the most stunning alpine and glacial vistas. Tours depart every 15-30mins from the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.

Note: Unfavourable weather conditions may affect the availability of the Columbia Icefield Snowcoach excursion.

We continue our journey to view the thundering Athabasca waterfalls and we continue driving to picturesque resort of Jasper, where you will enjoy an orientation tour of the town.

DAY 4: Jasper – Mount Robson – Kamloops

Today board our coach, follow the Fraser River to the base of spectacular Mount Robson in Jasper National park, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies.

We drive from Jasper to visit Maligne Lake a spectacular lake in the Canadian Rockies. It is famed for the colour of its water, the surrounding peaks, and the three glaciers.

We enter British Columbian and set your clocks one hour back. We stop for lunch at clear blue water.

Our journey is alongside the mighty Thompson River abounding in scenic delights as we travel westwards to the small city of Kamloops. After Indian dinner check-in to your hotel.

DAY 5: Kamloops – Whistler – Vancouver

This morning our journey takes us southwards towards Whistler. We can expect a day of scenery changes when we drive through the ranch lands and head for the coastal dramatic mountains. Upon arrival visit the athletes’ village during the 2010 Olympic in Whistler also known globally as one of the top ski-resorts and summer playgrounds.

Later continue our journey to Vancouver. We drive south along the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway through a dramatic landscape of jagged fjords, glaciated mountain peaks and with every opportunity to really take in the views of the beautiful coastline along the way.

In the evening we arrive in Vancouver and transfer for dinner at an Indian restaurant.

DAY 6: Vancouver – Seattle

After breakfast, explore the Metropolis of Vancouver on a sightseeing tour. Highlights include Stanley Park, Prospect Point, English Bay, historic Gastown, bustling Chinatown and visit Capilano Suspension Bridge – the world’s longest and highest suspended footbridge.

Later in the afternoon we cross the border into Washington and then travel onwards to Seattle and on to our hotel.

  2. USA custom officer will charge USD$6 per person Custom Tax payable directly to them.

DAY 7: Seattle – Boeing factory – Cruise ship

This morning after breakfast we visit the world famous Boeing Aeroplane FactoryThe factory tour itself is comprehensive, starting with an introduction in the theatre and then proceeding to the factory itself. Certainly an unforgettable experience. We stand inside the very building that houses 747s! And witness airplanes in various stages of construction & flight testing along with 777 dream liner and 787.

DAY 8: At Sea

Today is a full day at sea, a great opportunity to explore this vast ship and familiarise yourself with your home for the next seven days.

Enjoy a day at sea aboard the ship as you cruise Alaska’s Inside Passage. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as Orca whales and bald eagles. Humpback whales are often seen breaching by the ship, sometimes even lifting their whole bodies out of the water in a spectacular acrobatic displays.

DAY 9: Ketchikan, Alaska

This morning the cruise ship arrives in Ketchikan at 6:30am, Alaska. Built out over the water and climbing weathered stairways, Ketchikan clings to the shores of Tongass. Besides the main attractions which include Creek Street, the Tongass Historical Museum, Totem Bight

State Park and Saxman Village, try a flight-seeing trip to breathtaking Misty Fjords National Monument, an adventure not to be missed. These deep water fjords left by retreating glaciers left granite cliffs towering thousands of feet above the sea and countless waterfalls cascading into placid waters.

DAY 10: Tracy Arm Fjord, Alaska (Scenic Cruising)

Today the ship arrives at 5:00am in Tracy Arm Fjord. It is a fjord located 50 miles south of Juneau, Alaska and one of the exciting destinations on a Princess Cruise Line 7-Night Alaskan Cruise. Exclusive opportunity to see the very best of the Tracy Arm Fjord, and awe at a landscape carved by glaciers with hundreds of waterfalls cascading down 3000-foot granite walls. During the summer when Princess ships visit, icebergs float along the surface of the glistening water in an array of sizes, from just a few inches up to three stories wide. Tracy Arm Fjord is a haven for wildlife. Black and brown bears, deer, wolves, harbor seals, mountain goats and a variety of seabirds have been spotted in the area.

As you glide through the pristine fjord, you’ll first pass by a lush forest where a number of beautiful waterfalls cascade down, and then you’ll be treated to views of snowcapped mountains and blue-tinged glaciers more spectacular than you could ever imagine.

Afternoon in Juneau

The Cruise ship arrives at 12:30 pm in Juneau, the capital of Alaska and also called ‘Alaska’s peak experience”, due in part to its unparalleled glacier viewing from such places as Tracy Arm Fjord, the Juneau Icefields and Glacier Bay National Park. With some of the most beautiful vistas in the state, Juneau offers a wide variety of activities from dog sledding to whale watching. Try your luck sport fishing for king salmon, or simply stop by a local restaurant for an authentic salmon bake. Later in the evening set sail at 10:00pm toward Skagway.

This evening we have dinner at any outlet or at the Horizon cafe on Lido Deck 15.

DAY 11: Full Day Skagway

This morning the cruise ship arrives in Skagway at 7:00 am. This city was originally founded by hopeful adventurers looking for gold, but today the city is the perfect jumping off point for a hike or horseback ride. The Yukon railroad offers scenic rides through the countryside, and the Chilkat Glacier system offers the opportunity for an up close and personal view of icebergs. Set sail at 5:00pm.

DAY 12: At Sea

Today is a full day at sea, a great opportunity to explore this vast ship

The cruise arrives this evening in Victoria at 7:00 pm, British Columbia. A touch of England awaits. Perhaps, walk through Beacon Hill Park or near the Inner Harbour. Also, take time to visit the famed Butchart Gardens, which is a brilliant tapestry of colour spread across 50 blooming acres.

DAY 14: Seattle – Flight London

The cruise ship arrive early in morning arrival at Seattle Port Pier 91 – (Smith Cove Cruise Terminal) – 2001 W. Garfield Street Seattle, WA 98119 of Seattle to commence the next step of our journey

After breakfast we disembark our Cruise Ship and proceed to clear immigration. Then join our coach for the transfer to Seattle International Airport to board your flight to London Heathrow.

DAY 15: Arrival London

On arrival at London Heathrow Airport, follow signs for arrival/baggage claim, clear immigration, collect baggage and follow sign for exit.

  1.  British citizens require machine-readable passports, valid for 90 days after the return date, when travelling to the CANADA and USA.
  2.  Visa: Canada - Under Canada’s Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) program, British passport holders are required to obtain an eTA prior to travelling to Canada. Other nationality passport holders should check with the relevant embassy. The application can be done via the website: www.canada.ca/eta. You will need to provide basic personal information similar to what was previously collected on arrival into Canada. eTA is a convenient authorization that is electronically linked to your passport, which means you will need to travel with the same passport you used when they applied for and obtained your eTA.
  3. Visa: USA:- British Citizen passport holders do not require visas to enter USA.
    However all visitors to the United States (U.S.) (including children) who are eligible for the Visa Waiver Program me (VWP) must apply for authorization to travel to the U.S. in advance in accordance with the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).
    You must complete an online application for authorization to travel on the ESTA Website:-https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov/esta at least 72 hours before your flight or sailing to the U.S. departs but you are recommended to apply earlier. A charge of $14US applies. Providing the application is accepted, you will be provided with approval via the website.
