DAY 1:- Depart for Iceland, Arrive Reykjavik

Depart on your international flight from London Heathrow Airport to Reykjavik. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey.

Welcome to ICELAND. Upon arrival at Keflavik International Airport Reykjavik, clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow exit sign.

Watch out for our Guide / Representative who will be holding a placard with ‘Welcome Cobra Holidays’ on it. You will be met & greeted by our English speaking guide, who will direct you to board the coach and transfer to your hotel.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from jet lag and get ready for the adventures awaiting you! (Iceland is 2 hours ahead of UK GMT).

This evening, the highlight of the tour will be an included trip out of the city to search for the Aurora Borealis – the enchanting Northern Lights – flickering in the Icelandic night sky. Should you be lucky enough to view it, the phenomenon is an unforgettable sight.

DAY 2: – Reykjavik – City tour and the Blue lagoon

This morning after breakfast we board our coach and proceed for the guided city tour introduces fascinating Reykjavik and its surroundings. We will see landmarks such as the Presidential Residence and the towering Hallgrim’s Church, and admire the views from the extraordinary ‘Pearl’ – a glass-domed conference centre converted from disused water tanks.

Then head to Reykjanes peninsula to visit the world-famous Blue Lagoon outdoor spa, where the mineral-laden waters are renowned for their health-giving properties. No visit to Iceland is complete without a dip in the bubbling geothermal pools, set in the strange lunar-like landscape of a volcanic lava field or walk around this unique location and visit the café, restaurant or shop.

DAY 3: – Reykjavik – Golden Circle

Today after breakfast we depart for the hugely popular, Golden Circle tour which features Icelandic natural treasures such as the extraordinary Thingvellir lava arena and the misty torrents of the Gulfoss waterfall, Iceland’s mightiest waterfall, the hot spring area dominated by Geysir and Thingvellir National Park.

Visit the original Geysir (now all but extinct) and its more active neighbour, the Strokkur waterspout, before learning how Iceland’s plentiful geothermal energy is harnessed to help grow organic vegetables at the Frioheimar greenhouse cultivation centre.

DAY 4: – Reykjavik– South Coast

After breakfast we travel along the south coast, stopping close to the active volcano that lies beneath the Eyjafjallajökull glacier and at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where those who wish can walk along a trail behind the waterfall. Take a stroll on the black lava beach at Reynisfjara near Vik.

In the afternoon, visit Skogafoss waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in Iceland and explore one of Iceland’s finest folk museums to discover an outstanding collection of farm and domestic artefacts typical of Iceland’s past.

DAY 5: – Depart Iceland – London

This morning is at leisure before we transfer to Keflavik International Airport Reykjavik to board your flight to London Heathrow Airport. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey.

Welcome to England. On arrival at London Heathrow Airport Terminal, follow signs for arrival/baggage claim, clear immigration, collect baggage and follow sign for exit. Proceed with your own arrangements.

Visa Requirements

  1. British citizens require machine-readable passports, valid for 30 days after the return date, when travelling to the ICELAND.
  2. Visa: Iceland:- British Citizen passport holders do not require visas. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the Visas.
  3.  Ensure sure your passport has sufficient blank pages. Most destinations require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend for each country you are visiting that you have at least two free pages in your passport before any international travel.
