DAY 1: Depart for Iceland, Arrive Reykjavik

Depart on your international flight from a London Heathrow Airport to Reykjavik.

Welcome to ICELAND. Upon arrival at Keflavik International Airport Reykjavik, clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow exit sign.

Watch out for our Guide / Representative who will be holding a placard with ‘Welcome Cobra Holidays’ on it. You will be met & greeted by our English speaking guide, who will direct you to board the coach and transfer to your hotel.

**  Room Check-In at 2pm  **

In the evening after early dinner at an Indian Restaurant, we go for the Northern Lights Tour and Experience the magical dance of the Aurora Borealis on this Northern Lights tour by coach away from the bright lights of the city.

You will join a guided tour with a knowledgeable driver guide who will find a great spot to view the white, green and sometimes red lights dancing and flickering in the Icelandic night sky. During this 4-hour (approximate) tour, you will be driven wherever the lights appear in the guide‘s search for the best locations to view this incredible natural phenomenon.

Should you be lucky enough to view it, the phenomenon is an unforgettable sight.

DAY 2: Reykjavik – City tour and the Blue lagoon

This morning after breakfast, free time at leisure.

After lunch at 2:00pm, head to Reykjanes peninsula to visit the famous Blue Lagoon, a unique natural pool of mineral-rich geothermal water located in the middle of a lava field. No visit to Iceland is complete without a dip in the bubbling geothermal pools, set in the strange lunar-like landscape of a volcanic lava field or walk around this unique location and visit the café, restaurant or shop.

Enjoy a refreshing bath in the pleasantly warm water reputed for its healing properties

DAY 3: The Golden Circle – Geysers & Waterfalls

Today after breakfast, meet our guide at 9:00am and proceed for excursion to Iceland’s most popular tour of natural wonders.

Discover Thingvellir National Park where the North American and Eurasian continental plates drift apart, get up close to Gullfoss waterfall and see Strokkur geyser erupt twenty metres into the air.

Visit Fridheimar greenhouse cultivation centre – one of Iceland’s biggest greenhouses – where delicious, pesticide-free tomatoes are grown with the aid of geothermal heat which Iceland has in abundance. Fridheimar uses pure Icelandic cold water for irrigation and gets help from about 600 bumblebees to pollinate its tomatoes. Light lunch at Fridhemiar Greenhouse.

Includes: transfers, guiding, Golden Circle tour, admission and light lunch to Fridheimar greenhouse.

Later, depart for Reykjavik.

DAY 4: 3hrs City tour 

This morning after breakfast free time at leisure. At 10am we meet our guide, board our coach and proceed for the guided city tour of fascinating Reykjavik and its surroundings for 3hrs.

We travel to the old town center to the Alþingi Parliament, the Dómkirkjan Cathedral, city hall and the old harbor. Then onward to Höfði House, the site of the 1986 Iceland Summit where Reagan and Gorbachev met. Stop at Perlan Museum – Wonders of Iceland, Áróra Northern Lights Planetarium Show & observation Deck. See the Ice Cave which is the first of its kind in the world, located on the Öskjuhlíð hill, for spectacular views over the capital area, followed by a visit to Hallgrímskirkja church, one of Reykjavík’s landmarks, and the Sun Voyager sculpture.

We return to our hotel at 1pm.

DAY 5: Reykjavik– London

This morning after breakfast free time at leisure.

Later at 1pm we board our coach, and transfer to Keflavik International Airport Reykjavik to board your flight to London Heathrow Airport.

Welcome to England. On arrival at London Heathrow Airport, follow signs for arrival/baggage claim, clear immigration, collect baggage and follow sign for exit. Proceed with your own arrangements.

  • Return flight – If your flight departs in the morning, you will arrive in U.K. on the same day.
  • Return flight – If your flight departs in the afternoon / evening, you will arrive in U.K. on the next day.** Your tour ends, leaving you with many pleasant memories of a wonderful holiday. **

Visa Requirements

  1. British citizens require machine-readable passports, valid for 30 days after the return date, when travelling to the ICELAND.
  2. Visa: Iceland:- British Citizen passport holders do not require visas. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the Visas if required.
  3.  Ensure sure your passport has sufficient blank pages. Most destinations require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend for each country you are visiting that you have at least two free pages in your passport before any international travel.
