DAY 1: Depart for Cape Town 

Depart from London Heathrow on your scheduled flights to Cape Town.

Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey.


DAY 2: Arrive Cape Town

Welcome to SOUTH AFRICA. Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, clear immigration, collect your luggage and follow sign for exit.

Watch out for our guide who will holding a placard with ‘Welcome Cobra Holidays’ on it. You will be greeted at the airport by our English speaking guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from jet lag and get ready for the adventures awaiting you! (Cape Town is 1 hour ahead of UK GMT).

DAY 3: Cape Town

This morning after breakfast, our orientation tour takes you past the famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope, the baroque City Hall, Malay Quarter, company gardens, house of Parliament and the Grand Parade. Continue along the city’s main thoroughfare, Adderly Street, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront complex.

Next, ascend Table Mountain including ride on the cable car (weather permitting) for a stunning bird’s eye view of the city and its beaches. No visit to Cape Town would be complete without taking the revolving cable car to the summit of iconic Table Mountain, the unofficial symbol of South Africa and with breath-taking views.

Time permitting, also continue round to the Milnerton area for a beautiful view of Table Mountain. Visit the Milnerton Lighthouse, the light that brings ships safely into Table Bay and finish your tour with a stop at Diamond Works to see the factory and hear about South African jewellery.

On your return journey to Cape Town time permitting we stop at the colourful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens in the UNESCO-listed Cape Floral Kingdom.

DAY 4: Cape Town – Cape of Good Hope – Seal Island – Boulders Beach and see African Penguins

Today after breakfast we depart to visit the Cape of Good Hope. Your tour takes you to the fishing harbour of Hout Bay for a short trip to Seal Island to see the seals.

We then drive via the Atlantic Coast to Cape Point. Take the Funicular Tram Ride to Cape Point light house.

Next visit Boulders Beach, situated just after the picturesque village of Simons’s Town. The beach has a healthy population of African Penguins who have chosen the beach as their home and breeding ground due to the fact that there are fewer predators on this part of the coast.

DAY 5: Cape Town – The Garden Route – George

Enjoy an early breakfast this morning before taking the coastal route via South Africa’s whale-watching capital Hermanus, before picking up the Garden Route at Mossel Bay and snaking your way past its plethora of beautiful beaches.

We drive to along the scenic route to George. On arrival check-in to your hotel.

DAY 6: George – Oudtshoorn – George

After breakfast proceed for a tour of Oudtshoorn known as Feather Capital of the world and the centre of the world’s Ostrich farming industry. Come face to face With the biggest bird in the world.  Cango Ostrich Farm offers comprehensive and complete information regarding the ostrich – and ostrich industry.

Visit the Cango Caves – one of the world’s great natural wonders, sculptured by nature through the ages – fascinating limestone formations in a wide variety of colours. We visit the first six chambers of Cango Caves. The stalactite and stalagmite formations are an incredible sight.

An underground wonder world, International renowned as one of the world’s great natural wonders sculpted by nature through the ages; their fascinating limestone formation occurs in a variety of ways.

Then, we proceed to Cango Wildlife Ranch where you can discover a variety of animals seldom seen. Venture into Crocodile enclosures, visit Snake Park and Cheetahland. Don’t forget to photograph yourself cuddling a Cheetah by paying a nominal fee.

Later we drive back to George.

DAY 7: George – Knysna – Jewel of the Garden Route

Today after breakfast we spend the day discovering Knysna, the jewel of the Garden Route. Knysna nestles on the banks of a beautiful lagoon in the heart of the Garden Route. A leisurely start to the day to enjoy a John Benn Cruise on the gleaming waters of the lagoon.

In the afternoon we depart to visit Plettenberg Elephant Sanctuary in Plettenberg Bay and make memories to last a lifetime as you walk with the elephants.

You will see the special relationship that the elephant handlers share with their elephants and become a part of it. Time permitting we will also visit the beautiful beach.

Later return to George.

DAY 8: George – Johannesburg

This morning after early breakfast, depart from George to board your flight for Johannesburg.

On arrival at OR Tambo International Airport Johannesburg, follow arrival sign, collect your luggage and follow sign for exit. Watch out for our guide who will be holding a placard with ‘Welcome Cobra Holidays’ on it. You will be greeted at the airport by our English speaking guide and transferred to your coach.

We board our coach and proceed on an orientation tour of Johannesburg to include visiting Gold Reef City, a replica of ancient Johannesburg. Visit Old houses Museum, Gold Mine and watch the demonstrations of Gold being poured and minted.

We will also visiting Westcliff View, Nelson Mandela Bridge, Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown, the Carlton Centre and Constitution Hill.

Later check-in to our hotel.

DAY 9: Johannesburg – Sun City – Johannesburg

After breakfast we board our coach and proceed for full a day trip to dazzling Sun City famed for its rolling golf courses, gaming casinos, shops, restaurants and adventure activities. Sun City offers something for everyone.

On arrival enjoy some time exploring on your own the magnificent gardens of the Lost City, Kwena Crocodile Farm. You can also see the auditorium where MISS UNIVERSE contest are being held.

There is also lot of extra activities like (Quad Biking, Paragliding, Horse Riding, Clay Pigeon, Archery, etc. all optional).

Later depart for Johannesburg.

DAY 10: Johannesburg – Victoria Falls Zambia –  Sundowner Cruise

This morning after breakfast we depart for Johannesburg OR Tambo International airport to board our flight to Livingstone Airport in Zambia.

The Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Wonders of the Natural World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site with breath taking views and thunderous sounds. The Falls are a little over a mile wide and 351 feet high, making them one-and-a half times as wide and twice as high as the Niagara Falls. This is a destination where you can still encounter herds of buffalo and elephant on their way to the Zambezi river for their own sundowners.

Upon arrival, clear immigration (visa Fee USD$50 per person), collect your luggage and follow exit sign. You will be greeted at the airport by our English speaking guide who will be holding a placard with ‘ Welcome Cobra Holidays ‘ on it and transfer you to the hotel for two night stay.

Our hotel is located on the banks of the Zambezi River, just a short stroll from the falls themselves to your hotel. You will also see wild life like Zebras, Antelopes and giraffe around the vicinity of the hotel.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to relax and enjoy the facilities.

In the evening western dinner at the hotel.  Later enjoy the live music provided by the hotel.

DAY 11: Victoria Falls

Today after breakfast we depart for half a day city tour of Livingstone including a visit to Victoria Falls. Our tour discovers natural beauty that is quite simply beyond belief, with stops at several vantage viewpoint points to witness the sheer force of the water cascading over 90 metres to the bottom of the Zambezi gorge. Mid-mornings is good to see the Rainbows, as you can view east to west in the mornings and west to east in the afternoon.

Optional TourExcursion to see world famous Victoria falls from Zimbabwe side.

Note: Package Includes Visa fee for Zimbabwe, transport and an English speaking guide.

Then proceed to visit the Victoria Falls Bridge and walk one way on the bridge. You will also see the Zimbabwe border crossing.

Later visit the Livingstone Museum, which is entrusted with an array of original memorabilia, including many personal letters. We will also visit the Hindu OMKAR temple and the local market.

Later we return to the hotel.

Late afternoon we board our coach and proceed to enjoy the Sundowner Cruise on the African Queen on the mighty river Zambezi. Here we hope to spot a variety of birds and wildlife like crocodiles, birds, elephants and hippos.

Enjoy the entertainment and music on the boat.

After sunset, we return to our hotel.

Note: Please note that the Sundowner cruise is based on a scheduled basis and there will be other guests on the cruise and the boat may change depending on availability at the time of confirmation.

DAY 12: Victoria Falls – Johannesburg

This morning after breakfast free time at leisure. Later in the morning you will be transferred to Livingstone Airport to board your flight for Johannesburg.

Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport Johannesburg, you will be greeted at the airport by our English speaking guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

DAY 13: Johannesburg – Kruger National Park

This morning after breakfast, we head east into the state of Mpumalanga. Our journey follows part of the famous Panorama route, which includes Pilgrim’s Rest, declared a national monument to the days of the late 19th century gold rush. Weather permitting, we will make a stop at God’s Window for an amazing view from the top of the Drakensburg Escarpment, several hundred metres down to the Lowveld below. Then visit the Lisbon falls

We continue our journey and proceed to our Hotel for check-in for 2 nights stay.

DAY 14: Kruger National Park

Today early in the morning collect your packed breakfast and we depart for Kruger National Park.

An unforgettable day as we embark on a full-day game drive safari in the iconic Kruger National Park. Our 4×4 safari vehicles offer the best views of the surrounding area and hopefully see all of the ‘big five’- lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino. There is always something to see as nearly 150 different species of mammal reside in the park, together with hundreds of bird species and the Lowveld flora.

After our fascinating day at 3:30pm we return to our hotel.

DAY 15: Kruger National Park – Johannesburg

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and at 8:30am we depart for Johannesburg.

The journey is about 5 hours. Upon arrival Check-in to our hotel.

Soweto is a must for those wanting to learn more about South Africa’s fascinating culture and history. This tour takes you into the most famous sprawling township in Africa, home of about four million people It developed as a township for black people under Apartheid and was the site from where most of the struggle against Apartheid was fought. “Soweto” stands for South Western Township.

Soweto houses the largest black community – in excess of 2 million – made history and world news on 16 June 1976, with the uprising against Afrikaans as a language medium. Many lives were lost in the Struggle whilst the Apartheid government only wanted the Bantus to be educated to a restricted level.

On tour, you will get to visit the original home of former President Nelson Mandela, tour the famous Hector Pietersen Museum and Vilikazi Street. These are just a few of our many available attractions and destinations we visit during our tours.

Note: This tour will only operate if we have 20 passengers.

DAY 16: Flight Depart Johannesburg – London

Today after breakfast free time at leisure.

DAY 17:  Arrival London

Visa Requirements

  1. British Citizens require a machine readable passport, valid for 30 days after the return date, when travelling abroad.
  2. Visa: South Africa - British Citizen passport holders do not require visas to enter South Africa. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the Visas if you require them.
    Visa: Zambia – To visit Victoria Falls, you must have a visa for Zambia. British nationals visiting Zambia for less than 90 days do not need a visa in advance, and can obtain a visa on arrival. Effective from 1 November 2022, the Government of Zambia removed all visa fees for British passport holders visiting Zambia.   3. Ensure sure your passport has sufficient blank pages.
