DAY 1: Depart for Marrakech

Complimentary Airport Transfer – All passengers should arrive on time at the pick-up point Cobra Holidays office Address – 566 North Circular Road, London NW2 7QA.

Depart from Airport for your flight to Marrakech.

Welcome to Morocco. Upon arrival in Marrakech Airport, you will be greeted at the airport by our English speaking guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from jet lag and get ready for the adventures awaiting you! (Marrakesh is 2 hours ahead of UK GMT).

DAY 2: Marrakech – Free Day
After breakfast, free time at leisure, and enjoy the facilities of the hotel. We meet at 11am for group meeting and tour of the resort.

DAY 3: Marrakech – City Tour of Marrakech

This morning after breakfast, we meet our guide at the hotel and we will depart full day sightseeing tour of vibrant Marrakesh city.

We visit Koutoubia Mosque, the renowned landmark structure of Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakech, and be in awe of this engineering feat and historical masterpiece.

Then head towards Bahia Palace, one of the best-preserved historical sites and certainly most interesting in Marrakech. Visit The Saadian Tombs which is a major sight to see in Marrakesh. A short walk from the main square reveals what was hidden for nearly two-hundred years. Pass by the grand private residence of Dar El Bacha Palace on your way to the narrow streets of the Medina.

Hidden away among the maze-like streets are treasures your guide is eager to show you, ovens churning out typical street food, and an array of workshops where craftsmen produce goods to be sold at the souks.

After lunch, we head to visit the Menara Garden for a stroll through the peaceful site. Complete your tour with a view over the plaza of Jemaa el-Fnaa, this is a prime spot for people-watching in one of the city’s liveliest spots. Watch as the buzz of daily life unfolds among the market stands and streetscapes below.

By day, most of the square is just a big open space, in which a handful of snake charmers bewitch their cobras with flutes, medicine men (especially in the northeast of the square) display cures and nostrums, and tooth-pullers, wielding fearsome pliers, offer to pluck the pain from out of the heads of toothache sufferers, trays of extracted molars attesting to their skill. The square gradually fills until it becomes a whole carnival of storytellers, acrobats, musicians and entertainers.

DAY 5: Marrakech – Ourika Valley

Today after breakfast, we meet our guide at the hotel and depart for half day tour to explore the charming heart of the Great Atlas Mountains, only 60 km far from Marrakech you will uncover the berber mountain life style and culture, Ourika Valley and the visit of setti fatma village and its waterfalls is one the most famous day trip excursions from Marrakech to explore the Atlas Mountains. Admire Ourika River from its sources to the gates of Marrakech during this mountain tour, enjoy a hike from the small village of Setti Fatma, passing one by one the small waterfalls, towards the heart of Ourika Valley deep in the Atlas mountains.

Discover the multitude of plant species present on the red floor of the valley and do not miss the opportunity to get to know the Berber macaque in its natural environment.

Touch the freshness of water cascades and enjoy the contrasts of light of this place and take incredible pictures.

Then relax and have a delicious Berber Tagine lunch in one of many traditional restaurants in Ourika.

The hike through the magic of this valley is the ideal activity to discover the splendor of the High Atlas Mountains without too much altitude.

On arrival in London, follow signs for arrival/baggage claim, clear immigration, collect baggage and follow sign for exit. Board your coach and you will be dropped at your original pick-up point.

Visa Requirements

  1. British Citizens require a machine readable passport, valid for 30 days after the return date, when travelling abroad.
  2.  Visa: Marrakech (Morocco) - British Citizen passport holders do NOT require visas to enter Morocco. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the Visas if you require them.
  3. Ensure your passport has sufficient blank pages. Most destinations require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend for each country you are visiting that you have at least two free pages in your passport before any international travel.
