Tour Itinerary:

DAY 1: Depart for Mauritius

Depart from London Airport on your scheduled flight to SSR International Airport in Mauritius. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment for your journey.

DAY 2: Mauritius

Welcome to Mauritius. Upon arrival at Mauritius SSR International Airport, follow signs for arrival / passport / baggage claim, clear immigration, collect your baggage and follow sign for Exit.

Watch out for our guide who will holding a placard with ‘Welcome Cobra Holidays’ on it. You will be greeted at the airport by our English speaking guide and transferred to your hotel.

In the evening dinner at the hotel and enjoy the entertainment provided by the hotel.

DAY 3: Mauritius – Free day at leisure

After breakfast, we will meet at 11:00am for group meeting and familiarization of the hotel facilities. Rest of the day free time at leisure, relax on the beach & enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

In the evening enjoy the local entertainment provided by the hotel.

DAY 4: Mauritius – South Island Tour

After breakfast, we meet our guide and proceed for the tour of South Mauritius to include visit to visit the Model Ship Factory, drive to the Volcanic Crater, Curepipe – the scenic residential town, Garden Village, Grand Bassin -The Sacred Lake also known as Ganga Talao, see statues of different deities sacred to Hindus.

In the afternoon we visit the Shiva Temple which is the most important place of worship for Mauritian Hindus.

Continue to visit the mountain village of Chamarel to look at the amazing sand dunes of different colours at the Seven Coloured Earths. Get a panoramic views of the rural landscape of the Black River district and peaks of Le Morne Brabant Mountain.

Visit the Alexandra Falls viewpoint in Gorges National Park, and then look inside an ancient volcanic crater at Trou Aux Cerfs, where the lush vegetation and tropical plants will take your breath away.

Later return to your hotel. In the evening dinner at the hotel and enjoy the entertainment provided by the hotel.

DAY 5: Mauritius – Free day at leisure

Day 06: Mauritius – North Tour & Port Louis

Today after breakfast at 09:00am we visit Pamplemousses – the Royal Botanical Gardens. Take a panoramic view of Port Louis city from the Citadel Fort. The orientation tour of Port Louis includes visit to the Catholic Church, Mosque, High Court building, Port Louis Theatre, French Colonial buildings etc.

Enjoy shopping at the Caudan Waterfront, with some 170 shops and it art & craft market.

Later return to your hotel.

Welcome to England. On arrival at London Airport, follow signs for arrival/baggage claim, clear immigration, collect your baggage and follow sign for exit.

Please proceed with your arrangement for your homeward journey.

Return flight – If your flight departs in the morning, you will arrive in U.K. on the same day.
Return flight – If your flight departs in the evening, you will arrive in U.K. on the next day.

Visa Requirements

Passports and Visas

  1. British Citizens require a machine readable passport, valid for 30 days after the return date, when travelling abroad.
  2. Visa: Mauritius - British Citizen passport holders do not require visa to enter Mauritius. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the Visas if you require them.
  3. Ensure your passport has sufficient blank pages. Most destinations require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend for each country you are visiting that you have at least two free pages in your passport before any international travel.
