DAY 1: Depart for Tunisia

Depart from Airport for your flight to Tunisia

Note: Complimentary airport transfers will be provided if flight departing from London Gatwick Airport, London Luton Airport or London Stansted Airport except London Heathrow Airport.

Asslema!  Welcome to Tunisia. Upon arrival in Tunisia Airport, you will be greeted at the airport by our English speaking guide and transferred to your hotel.

The rest of the day is at your leisure to recover from jet lag and get ready for the adventures awaiting you!

DAY 2: Arrive Tunisia

This morning after breakfast, free time at leisure, relax on the beach & enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

In the evening enjoy the local entertainment provided by the hotel.

DAY 3: El DJem & Sousse

Today drive to visit El Djem, the third largest Amphi theatre in the Roman Empire and one of the best preserved in the world, where in times gone past Christians fought gladiators to their deaths. Later, stroll through the Medina of Sousse, famous for its historic monuments listed as UNESCO world Heritage Site. Then visit port Kantaoui and have a leisurely walk round the marina. In the afternoon visit the Sousse local market for shopping.

Later return to the hotel. The rest of the day free time at leisure, relax on the beach & enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

DAY 5: Half Day Tour to Monastir

Today drive to visit the city on Monastir, a historical town full of rich history, vibrant Culture, and blue seas.

We spend time in the Medina and its imposing walls surrounding the old town of Monastir known as the old Roman Ruspina. It is the birthplace of Habib Bourguiba, the founder of the Tunisian republic and known as the father of Tunisian Independence.  Here we visit the Bourguiba family mausoleum, Marble Palace & The Ribat of Monastir – an incredible ancient fortress not to be missed. Exploring the beautifully preserved walls, towers and chambers transports you back centuries.

Late afternoon return to the hotel. The rest of the day free time at leisure, relax on the beach & enjoy the facilities of the hotel.

DAY 6: Free Day

 DAY 8: Depart Tunisia – London

Today, you will be transferred to the Airport to board your flight to London.

On arrival in London Airport, follow signs for arrival/baggage claim, clear immigration, collect baggage and follow sign for exit. Board your coach and you will be dropped at your original pick-up point.

Note:

Return flight – If your flight departs in the morning, you will arrive in U.K. on the same day.
Return flight – If your flight departs in the evening, you will arrive in U.K. on the next day.

Visa Requirements

  1. British Citizens require a machine readable passport, valid for 30 days after the return date, when travelling abroad.
  2. Visa: Tunisia - British Citizen passport holders do not require visas to enter Tunisia. Please ensure you make your own arrangements to obtain the Visas if you require them.
  3. Ensure your passport has sufficient blank pages. Most destinations require that you have adequate un-used pages in your passport, allowing for any necessary stamps upon arrival and departure. We recommend for each country you are visiting that you have at least two free pages in your passport before any international travel. Your passport must not be damaged in any way i.e. no water or oil marks, torn pages etc.
